Vintage Art Nouveau Silver Cartouche Abalone Shell Lingerie Pins, NOS

Gorgeous 1910s or 20s era sterling silver lingerie pins set with iridescent abalone shell in an Art Nouveau cartouche/ Arabesque frame shape. C-clasp closure. Set of two, used for pinning bra-straps to clothing. Can be worn as brooches. Deadstock, still on their store card. 

Materials: Sterling silver, German silver, genuine abalone shell.

Measurement:

2.75cm long 

Condition:

The silver is tarnished on all. 

The white set, as well as one of the multi-tonal sets, have small imperfections to the shells and have been discounted (see photos).
